Homeowner Coverages

Some of the Coverages Available (subject to state availability):

  • Dwelling: Dwelling coverage protects the structure of your home and will pay toward the repair of damages due to a covered peril.

  • Other Structures: Many homeowners have unattached structures on their property such as a workshop or a free-standing garage. This provides coverage to repair damage to or replace any structures that are not attached to your home due to a covered peril.

  • Personal Property (contents): Items within your home that are not attached to it are considered personal property. Personal property coverage is designed to pay toward the repair or replacement of any of your damaged personal property (unless designated with special limits) resulting from a covered peril.

  • Personal Liability: Your personal liability provides coverage for you and your family if you are found liable for injuries to a third party that occur on your property or in your home.

  • Medical Payments: Covers medical expenses incurred when a guest is injured at your home whether you are to blame or not, subject to coverage limits.

  • Loss of Use: If a covered peril causes damage to your property, and you and your family must live elsewhere while your home is under repair, you will be reimbursed for some of the living expenses that result from the loss of use of your home. Limits may apply.

NOTE: Homeowner product quotes with HomeFirst® Agency, Inc. are subject to state availability.
